Yes, but we'll get to that later! Have any of you had a bad experience purchasing a new home? What were some of the items that made it so poor and what would you change for your next purchase to make it memorable and enjoyable? Well as stated in the title, buying a home does not have to suck!
It dawned on me yesterday while listening to a business presentation at my office that only 30% of Canadians use Mortgage Brokers to help them secure the financing on their property. I found this number stifling and am still baffled that 70% of home owners haven't shopped around. It may be a bit bias to say, but using a Mortgage Broker like myself, can save you thousands of dollars. There is little excuse to not utilize a broker to pit multiple lenders against each other for your benefit.
Much of the Mortgage Broker world probably gets lost in translation. What I mean by this is the majority of individuals I speak with have no idea what a Mortgage Broker does and how I can help you simplify the home buying process and save a significant amount of money along the way. It's really quite simple so here are a few helpful descriptions detailing some of my job duties.
-You will receive independent advice on your financial options. I am not tied to just one lender, this allows me to offer you a wide range of mortgage products to suit your individual needs and lifestyle. I will negotiate on your behalf to ensure you are not only getting the best interest rate available, but the best overall product with the flexibility you require.
-You will save time with a one stop shop. Everyone has busy lives and it could take weeks to arrange appointments with competing mortgage lenders. I know you would rather be spending your time actually house hunting - so allow me to narrow down your search and make comparison shopping easy, fast and convenient.
-Financial Institutions would love to have you as a client, therefore many offer incentives to attract creditworthy customers. Get the perks that you deserve!
-FREE service!!! There is absolutely no charge for my services on typical residential mortgages. I will get paid a finders fee from the financial institution when I introduce trustworthy, dependable customers like yourself. The fees are quite standard and industry wide so the focus remains on you, the client.
-Ongoing support and consultation. My job is not complete once you sign your documents, or even at the closing date. I will ensure that your transaction takes place on time and to your satisfaction. In addition, I am always available if you require any financial advice or referral details throughout the life of your mortgage. I will provide you with regular market updates and ensure that you have the necessary tools to reduce the costs on your mortgage.
These are just a few things that I take pride in providing for my clients. As for the photo above, it's a strong visual that I could probably re-enact; however, in a different perspective I will provide you with a service that is second to none and you will walk away with expectations that have been exceeded. I will simplify the home buying process and save you money along the way.
I have a strong referral base and can provide you with the necessary professional individuals involved in the process of buying a home; whether it's a Real Estate Agent, Lawyer, Insurance Broker or Financial Advisor, let me assist you in making your dream a reality. You'll be surprised at the value you will receive without paying a dime. The highest compliment you can give me is the referral of a new client.
